Habit Streak Tracking, Right Next to Your Calendar and Journal

Every habit on your PlanJour checklist shows a running streak, so you can see how consistent you've actually been, not how consistent you feel.

Habit Streak Tracking, Right Next to Your Calendar and Journal

Habits die quietly when you can't see them

Most habit tracking fails for a boring reason: the habit list lives in an app you open once, decide you're 'behind', and then stop opening altogether. If tracking a habit takes more effort than doing the habit, the tracking is the first thing to go.

PlanJour keeps the habit checklist exactly where you're already looking: on the same daily page as your calendar's quick journal panel, and on the full Journal page itself.

A streak that's actually fair

Each habit, whether it's a default like drink water or exercise, or something fully custom you added yourself, shows a small streak count next to it: how many consecutive days you've ticked it off. The streak calculation is deliberately forgiving about today: if you haven't marked today done yet (because, reasonably, the day isn't over), it counts back from yesterday instead of resetting to zero the moment you open the app in the morning. Nothing kills momentum on a habit tracker faster than watching a real streak get wiped out by a technicality.

Visible in two places, tracked as one thing

Whether you tick off a habit from the Calendar's Day view quick panel or from the full Journal page, it's the same underlying record. There's no syncing two separate habit lists in your head, no wondering which version is current. One tap, wherever you happen to be in the app, and it's done everywhere.

Small enough to actually keep

Habits in PlanJour aren't meant to be a sprawling productivity system. They're a short, honest checklist that sits quietly next to the two things you're already opening every day: your calendar and your journal. That's usually the difference between a habit that survives a bad week and one that quietly disappears from an app you stopped opening.

Add your first habit and see the streak count start ticking up: start free.
