By accessing or using PlanJour, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

PlanJour is a personal productivity app that combines a calendar for planning events with a private journal for daily reflection. Features include event creation and categorisation, recurring events, reminders, a customisable journal, cover themes, and data export tools.

To use PlanJour you must register an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account in your own name.

A parent or guardian may hold an account on behalf of a child under 13 and let that child use it. In that case the adult is the account holder, is responsible for the account, and should record their own date of birth when asked - there is a separate option for recording a child's birthday within the journal itself.

PlanJour offers an optional paid subscription, "PlanJour Plus":

• Pricing: £4.99 per month or £34.99 per year.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from your Account page; your Plus access continues until the end of the paid period.
• We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).
• Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice before any change affects you.

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.

You agree not to:

• Use PlanJour for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' data.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse any part of the service.

PlanJour, its design, logos, and software are owned by Sparklithic Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. "PlanJour" and the PlanJour wordmark are trademarks of Sparklithic Ltd. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding, and you may not use the PlanJour name or logo without our prior written permission.

You retain full ownership of the content you create in PlanJour, including your journal entries and calendar events. We do not claim ownership of your content. We only process it as needed to provide the service (for example, to store, display, and export it) and as described in our Privacy Policy.

PlanJour is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to keep it reliable, we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data arising from your failure to maintain your own backups (we provide export tools for this purpose). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

You may stop using PlanJour and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; you may export your data beforehand.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
