Search your calendar and your journal
Find any event or journal entry in seconds. Press Ctrl K, or tap the search icon in the calendar header.
You can now search everything you have written.
One box, both halves of PlanJour. Search looks across your events and your journal at the same time. Events match on title, notes, location and checklist items, so "where did I write down the passport thing" finally has an answer. Journal entries match on your thoughts, wins, gratitude lines, affirmations and habit names.
Open it from anywhere. Press Ctrl K, or Cmd K on a Mac, from anywhere in the app. There is also a search icon in the calendar header. Use the arrow keys to move through results and Enter to open one.
It takes you straight there. Choosing an event opens that day in Day view. Choosing a journal entry opens that day's page with the notebook already open.
Accents do not matter. Searching for "cafe" finds "Café", and the other way round.
Results are ranked so the thing you meant comes first: a match in an event title beats a match buried in notes, and a word starting with what you typed beats one that merely contains it. On the free plan, journal entries outside your history window still appear so search never looks broken, but stay closed until you upgrade.
