Year Planner: see your whole year, then decide where the time goes
A new Plus feature for yearly planners and travellers: see all 12 months at a glance, set a target time split across your life categories, and track your plan against what's actually on your calendar.
Life Progress Checks ask how a month felt. Year Planner asks something different: where do you actually want a whole year's time to go, and where is it really going.
Open it from the account menu (or the hamburger menu on mobile) and you'll find two things working together.
The Year Grid shows all 12 months on one screen, each day tinted by whatever category you've scheduled the most of that day. It's built for sitting down once and seeing the shape of the year: where the open stretches are, where things already cluster, where a trip could go. Tap any day to jump straight into it on the Calendar page.
The Allocation Planner lets you set a target percentage for each of your life categories, the same categories used in your Wheel of Life check-ins, using sliders that balance each other out to 100%. Save your plan, and a Plan vs. Reality section shows exactly how your calendar's real time has broken down across the year so far against what you set out to do, category by category.
It reuses the same category set as Life Progress Checks by design: one check-in tells you how a month felt, this tells you whether a whole year's calendar is actually going where you meant it to.
Year Planner is included with PlanJour Plus.
